Common questions
Do baby teeth with cavities really need filling?
Usually yes. Baby teeth hold space for the adult teeth behind them, and an untreated cavity can reach the nerve, cause real pain, and damage the permanent tooth forming underneath.
Will my child need a numbing injection?
For most fillings, yes, and we numb the gum with a topical gel first so the injection itself is barely felt. Many children with laughing gas don't register it at all.
Can all the fillings be done in one appointment?
Often, yes. We'll plan it around your child's age and stamina and tell you honestly whether one longer visit or two shorter ones will go better.
